I feel like deep deep down I knew she would pass soon. On facebook I filled out my “inspiring people” and put John Belushi*, Chris Farley*, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, and of course, Amy Winehouse. I included her in a group of people dead before their time. And now she is dead. Dead at 27. Hopefully she’ll be remember for the gifts she gave us and not the drugs that took her.
*For the record, I’m aware Chris Farley and John Belushi were not in the 27 club. They both died at 33. But both of over-dose, and both before their time.

I would listen to “Who’d Have Known” like 7482936590 times a day back in novamber/december when so many good things we happening and that song totally defined my life. It’s kind of like my good luck charm now. Sometimes I listen to it when i’m down to remember the things that were.

I could never ever choose just one song of hers. It depends what mood i’m in. I’ll say either “Love is a Losing Game” or “Tears Dry on thier Own” just because I went through similar things that she did when writing those. Especially TDOTO, that was like dead on word for word.
